Lakhachi Gosht (1952) - A Glance through Old Memories

'Lakhachi Gosht' is one of the old comedy classics directed by Raja Paranjape. The film starring Raja Paranjape, Raja Gosavi, Chitra, Rekha, Karadkar, Indira Chitnis, G. D. Madgulkar, Sharad Talwalkar, Ravindra and Madan Mohan in prominent roles is a romantic-comedy entertainer. Produced by Raja Paranjape, the film was crafted with beautiful melodies by Sudhir Phadke. The film had some popular songs including 'Tya Tithe Palikade...' which is rendered even today.

'Lakhachi Gosht' still remains a cult film in the history of Marathi cinema and is still fondly remembered and evoked by the audiences.
