While M-town is often seen as a film industry completely singing, dancing and filled with family drama, the filmmakers today are taking a risk to experiment with new genres which are quite usual in the Bollywood films. Director by Shankh Rajyadhyaksha has made a commendable effort to make a complete suspense thriller that can send shivers down your spine!

The fast-paced and chilling story of the film revolves around Kaavya and Yash Dixit and their daughter Reva. A young and happy couple with blooming careers - the Dixits get into a serious problem because of their house help/baby sitter Asha who had been recently hired to take care of Reva is found dead in their home. Since all the evidences point against Yash, he gets arrested and their perfect family life gets totally disturbed.

Review: A Thrilling tale of '702 Dixit's'

What is the real truth behind the mystery? Is Yash really innocent which he claims or is there more to it? Has Yash misbehaved with Asha and lust is a hidden cause? Were Yash and Kaavya really a happy couple or was it a false portray?

What had exactly happened? How this mystery gets solved… has managed to create the suspense in the journey of emotions, relationships, excitement and twists-turns, compelling one question 'If we should really believe what we see?'

While the film lets you experience those moments with some fantastic scenes, it will definitely thrill you visually while making you feel the pain of the stress trapped in a crime. With a new team of star cast including Gauri Nigudkar, Pallavi Patil, Vijay Andalkar, Jaywant Wadkar, Shrirang Deshmukh, Ruchi Jail and Vikram Gokhale in prominent roles, everyone managed to deliver decent and remarkable performances.

On the whole,'702 Dixit's' has all the right ingredients to be a memorable film and rise above mediocre, owing to well-balanced background score that blend well with the film that will definitely be a good watch for the weekend.
