EXCLUSIVE: 'Shasan reveals the darker side of politics to the audience': Manava Naik

Gajendra Ahire directorial, 'Shasan' a multi starrer Political Drama with many veteran actors starring together for the first time is coming soon in the theatres near you. While talking to www.marathidhamaal.com about her upcoming film Shasan and her role in the film, beautiful and talented actress Manava Naik said, 'Shasan is a social-political film, which reveals the darker side of politics to the audience. I play the role of a Newspaper journalist Indrayani. She is a modern and a strong girl of today who is a part of this everyday politics. She believes in exposing the reality and bringing out the ugly truth behind all the dirty politics that has contaminated our society".

Talking about working with director Gajendra Ahire, Manava said 'It was great experience working with Gajendra. He is a actor'sdirector and knows what he wants from the actor and how to extract work from the actor. Gajenra and I have great personal relations which helped me deliver my best during every shot. In some cases you just have to submit yourself to the director and here we did that".

When asked about her dream role, an elated Manava said 'I love experimenting on variety of roles. I always wish to work for a role which is different from the previous one. I like to work films that have a backbone or a thought. I never wished for a dream role but since childhood I loved watching Acharya Atre's play 'Lagnachi Bedi' from which I was always fascinated to play 5the role of Rashmi. Even though the role is not challenging I always wish to that role".

Manava who has been acting since her childhood, use to participate in school and collage drama. A very beautiful and talented Marathi actress, Manava has acted in many Hindi, Marathi TV serials and movies and entertainted the audience with her skillful acting. And once again Manava is gearing up to entertain the audience wither upcoming film 'Shasan'
