Music festival to celebrate Dr Hangal's 94th birthday

Hubli (UNI): The Hangal Foundation and Hubli Art Circle are jointly organizing ''Festival of Music'' on the occasion of 94th birthday of veteran classical vocalist Dr Gangubai Hangal on March 5.

Announcing this at a press conference here yesterday, Mr Mahesh Hangal and B G Hangal, President and Secretary of the Foundation said that eminent film actor Nana Patekar will be the chief guest of the festival, which has been arranged to promote Indian classical music amongst the younger generation.
