Jiah Khan hums a song in <i>Nishabd</i>

Ram Gopal Verma's latest discovery, the nimble Jiah Khan, is reported to have sung a song in her debut Nishabd. The self-confessed lover of Amitabh Bachchan, Jiah is also a great dancer and has performed a Shakira-inspired belly dance in the movie.

After playing screen husband to Hema Malini, Jaya Pradha, Revathy and Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan will now be seen romancing Jiah Khan, who is less than one-third his age! Nishabd is a movie about inexplicable love between an 18-year old girl (played by Jiah Khan) and a 60-year old man (played by Amitabh Bachchan). The movie also stars actor-turned-director Revathy. Nishabd is set to release early in February next year.

Incidentally, Jiah's co-star Mr. Bachchan has also sung a song in his latest release, Ravi Chopra's Baabul. Ramu's first ever muse Urmila Matondkar recently recorded a song with Asha for her album 'Asha and Friends'. It seems like the actors are giving playback a stint for the sheer joy of pulling off a great act!
