Salim Sulaiman to make sports anthem

After giving a spectacular music for Nagesh Kukunoor's Dor, the musician duo Salim and Sulaiman Merchant are now working on a sports anthem. Yes, the two are working on a song for Yash Raj's Chak De! India which will be more like a sports Anthem for India. Says Salim "Yes, we are working on a song which will become like a sports anthem for Indians. Be it any sport, the song will be about cheering the Indian team with full energy." Talking about the responsibility that Yash Raj Films has placed upon them Salim adds, "It is a very tough brief that Yash Raj has given us. But we are working hard on it."

This will be the second time that Salim Sulaiman will be composing a complete album for a Yash Raj film. Prior to this, they had composed songs for Neal 'N' Nikki. Apart from this the duo has also done background scores for Yash Raj's Dhoom and also Dhoom 2. In fact, they had also done the sound programming for Dhoom 2.

Chak De! India stars Shah Rukh Khan as a coach of an all girls hockey team. The film is to be directed by Shimit Amin.
