Rank Last week Film Plusses Minuses
1 KANK The film has been promoted in a way that has surpassed the publicity of any flick released before it! The cast and crew are all over the place while the full length songs being premiered on a leading music channel has got the people psyched about the film in a big way! No wonder that the music still continues to sell like hot cakes! A sense of deja-vu for those who were expecting something different from this Karan Johar flick
2 Fanaa This is too good to be true! With more than quarter of a year gone by since the music release, it is still doing well. Jatin Lalit take a bow with one of their most successful music albums ever. Would they be wooed by the big production houses again? Below average publicity of the music
3 Gangster The film has now completed 100 days at the box office and turned into a 'lambi race ka ghoda'. Same can be said about the film's music that has registered consistent sales throughout. With the songs being an essential part of any song compilation coming from HMV, 'Gangster' continues to mind money! None
5 Omkara Decent response to the film means that many of those who caught up the film are getting interested in the music as well! It would be interesting to see for how many more weeks can the album sustain itself in Top-5? With an exception of a couple of songs, remaining are mainly for those who are class oriented
5 PKSE Techno bhangra-mix mood created by the album makes it a wholesome entertainer for the young ones. Hardly surprising that it has already become DJ favorite at number of places. Pritam rocks once more! Mainly targeted at young crowds
New Aap Ki Khatir Aggressive publicity coupled with two genuinely good numbers ['Aap Ki Khatir', 'I Love You'] brings this Himesh Reshammiya album in the charts in no time The album doesn't recreate the same magic as seen in earlier Dharmesh Darshan - Nadeem Shravan films
6 Ahista Ahista One of the best soundtracks to arrive this year, 'Ahista Ahista' is an excellent compilation. A new version of the title song 'Ahista Ahista' is currently on air and is making a haunting impact. If the film succeeds at the box office, there won't be looking back for this Himesh Reshammiya album The film's release is getting delayed and one fears that this doesn't impact the album's prospects. Good part is that the film has so many good songs that there is no dearth of software to be fed to the music channels
7 One and Only Himesh Surrounded all around by new films coming from Himesh Reshammiya, this one is a compilation of some of his best hits in the recent times. As expected, the album is doing good business at the music stands! None
8 Dil Diya Hai Why is the album still hanging at the bottom of the charts? One fails to understand the reason behind that, especially with the hit team of ABA coming together, some genuinely fine music by Reshammiya and an aggressive music campaign! Choice of too much too soon for Reshammiya fans
10 Rocky For the second week in succession, 'Rocky' hangs on at #10 spot! Zayed looks cool, the girls [Minisha, Isha] are nice'n'sweet while the song picturisation is youthful too. Reshammiya comes up with an overall decent score Comparisons with 'Aksar' are inevitable that came from the same producers and composer
