Don
-
The
Chase
Begins
Again
'Don'
has
turned
out
to
be
a
rare
instance
when
the
film
is
competing
with
itself!
How?
The
theatrical
promo
of
the
film
has
garnered
such
positive
response
that
it
is
vying
for
prime
time
slots
on
music
channels
along
with
the
songs
that
continue
to
be
beamed
round
the
clock!
Hard
to
find!

Bas
Ek
Pal
Songs
can
be
attributed
as
the
top
most
reasons
that
made
one
look
forward
to
the
film.
Though
the
film
doesn't
seem
to
be
en
route
to
the
similar
fate
as
the
music,
songs
from
'Bas
Ek
Pal'
continue
to
rock
all
over
the
town
by
even
making
an
entry
into
up-market
pubs
and
discs!
Not
meant
for
those
who
are
looking
at
a
conventional
'pyaar
mohabbat'
Bollywood
score!

Woh
Lamhe
Last
week
when
the
album
reached
#4,
there
was
a
question
if
it
would
make
it
to
the
Top
3.
It
has
done
so
while
inching
forward
with
every
passing
week,
only
to
peak
a
week
before
the
film's
release.
Don't
be
surprised
if
just
like
'Gangster';
this
one
too
continues
to
make
its
presence
felt
in
the
charts
long
after
the
film
is
off
the
theatres
'Bin
Tere
Kya
Hai
Jeena'
is
a
beautiful
song
that
has
been
recently
aired
on
music
channels
but
the
music
video
is
quite
weak.
A
quick
movement
to
another
song
may
help

Omkara
After
a
long
wait,
'Omkara'
did
reach
Top
3
but
its
stay
there
was
short
lived
as
'Woh
Lamhe'
edges
past
it.
Nevertheless,
it's
certainly
not
a
mean
feat
for
an
album
that
was
panned
by
many
on
its
release
None....what
with
the
music
turning
out
to
be
a
success!

KANK
KANK
lives
for
yet
another
week
in
the
Top
5
though
the
magic
seems
to
be
fading
away
quite
quickly
due
to
promos
being
by
and
large
off
the
air
Audience
may
now
be
looking
for
a
change
from
Karan
Johar
and
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
in
their
next
outing

Lage
Raho
Munnabhai
The
album
is
destined
to
show
consistent
collections
over
next
few
weeks,
especially
with
the
film
doing
exceptionally
well
at
the
box
office.
It
would
be
interesting
to
see
if
the
music
sales
too
cross
those
of
the
first
in
the
series,
'Munnabhai
MBBS',
just
like
the
film!
Situational
tracks
that
start
connecting
with
the
listener
once
seen
on
the
big
screen

Fanaa
Albums
like
'Fanaa'
and
'Gangster',
both
of
which
have
been
ruling
for
weeks,
stay
in
the
charts
for
yet
another
week,
primarily
aided
by
the
fact
that
there
has
been
no
major
competition
coming
their
way
in
last
few
weeks
Below
average
publicity

Gangster
Albums
like
'Krishna',
'Zindaggi
Rocks',
'Jai
Santoshi
Maa'
'Utthan',
'Mera
Dil
Leke
Dekho'
and
many
more
failing
to
make
much
impression
by
now
means
that
'Gangster'
continues
to
sell
for
yet
another
week.
It
is
a
hot
NRI
favorite
though
with
big
demand
amongst
those
visiting
their
homeland
for
a
vacation!
After
plagiarism
stories
erupted
about
'Gangster'
with
slight
murmurs
about
'Woh
Lamhe'
as
well,
every
song
by
Pritam
is
being
looked
at
with
hawk-eyes!

Jaan-e-mann
'Ajnabi
Shehar',
one
of
the
top
tracks
of
the
album,
has
been
premiered
as
well
but
surprisingly
the
music
is
picking
up
quite
slowly.
Good
quality
of
the
music
though
ensures
that
sales
would
be
see
a
healthier
trend
once
the
film
releases
Surprise
of
the
week
as
the
album
struggles
to
move
any
further
up
than
its
#
9
position.
Music
company
and
the
makers
may
well
have
been
left
wondering
how
to
get
the
sales
charts
go
up
for
this
well
made
music
by
Anu
Malik!

Aap
Ki
Khatir
An
album
that
stays
in
the
charts
out
of
default
due
to
nothing
else
doing
anything
better,
'Aap
Ki
Khatir'
is
registering
low
numbers
too
and
is
barely
surviving
the
charts
Release
of
music
of
'Vivaah'
and
'Umrao
Jaan'
in
quick
succession
would
certainly
push
the
album
out
of
the
charts!
