Kalpana not given credit for her sweet voice

Kalpana, a singer by profession, has been in the industry for some time now.Originaly from Assam, her body of work includes songs for music giants like HMV, T Series, Times Music and Venus as well acting in successful Bhojpuri films.

So imagine her surprise when her name featured as a chorus singer in the credit list of the album, Super Girl. The lead singer of the album says, "Putting in my name as a chorus singer may be a mistake, but how can they give the credits to Rakhi Sawant?"

Apparently, this is not the first time this has happened with her. In the Universal album, Poo Kya Jalwa Hain, her name is not even mentioned. Poonam Jhavar has been credited as the lead singer. Co-incidentally, Tauba Tauba, sung by Kalpana, has Poonam Jhavar as the lead singer, too.

A stunned Kalpana adds, "It's tormenting for a singer to bear the fact that her voice is not tagged with her name. I not only want to get justice, but also want this issue to be taken care of, so that strugglers like me don't face injustice again."

We wonder what the fresh batch of reality show singers will face when they jump into the industry
