It's
all
in
the
family
or
so
Himesh
Reshammiya
would
like
to
believe.
Now
the
music
director-turned
singer-turned-actor's
father
Vipin
Reshammiya
has
composed
a
song
for
Himesh's
next
film
Mudh
Mudh
Ke
Na
Dekkh
Mudh
Mudh
Ke.
Says
Himesh,
"My
father
was
the
first
person
to
introduce
electronic
instruments
in
India
and
was
a
leading
musician
with
Laxmikant-Pyarelal,
RD
Burman,
Shankar-Jaikishen.
Above
all,
dad
is
the
backbone
of
my
success.
He
will
now
be
composing
one
of
the
eight
songs
that
will
be
part
of
the
film"s
soundtrack."
The
song
Vipin
Reshammiya
has
composed
for
MMKNDMMK
is
one
that
he
had
composed
30
years
ago.
Says
Himesh,
"It's
a
mind-blowing
melody
which
dad
had
never
used
anywhere.
Recently,
when
I
heard
it
I
thought
it
sounded
as
fresh
as
ever
and
wanted
to
use
it
for
MMKNDMMK."
It's
a
very
contemporary
fusion
number
for
the
film
so
I
asked
dad
if
I
could
use
the
tune
for
my
film
and
whether
he
would
mind
it
being
orchestrated
in
a
modern
manner
as
the
music
of
MMKNDMMK
is
young.
Dad
said
that
he
had
introduced
electronic
instruments
in
an
innovative
manner
instead
of
recording
it
with
live
musicians.
He
added
that
if
I
was
unconventional
it
was
because
of
his
genes.
I
was
thrilled
when
I
heard
this
because
I
am
super
sure
this
melody
will
work
for
generation
next
in
a
big
way." Himesh
adds
that
this
will
be
the
first
time
he's
going
to
use
someone
else"s
tune.
"I
am
very
proud
of
it
as
it's
my
dad's.
He
is
my
guru,
my
God
and
I
can't
do
without
him."
