Adnan Sami's father passes away; funeral today

Famous singer Adnan Sami's father Arshad Sami Khan passed away yesterday afternoon, June 22nd, at the Kokilaben-Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. Arshad Sami Khan had been suffering from cancer and was brought to Mumbai by Adnan for better medical treatment. Since last few weeks he had been admitted at the Kokilaben-Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

Arshad Sami Khan, a Pakistani national was born in Pakistan and was well trained in composing classical and jazz music. One may recall the recently made allegations by Adnan's estranged wife on him which had further spoiled her relations between Adnan. The estranged couple had a fight over Arshad Sami Khan being flown down to Mumbai to their house from Houston for a holiday. He had a relapse of pancreatic cancer and had to be admitted to the hospital.

His health had worsened since last few days and one could see Adnan constantly been in and out of the hospital, barely getting sleep. The funeral is most likely to take place in Mumbai on today, June 23rd.
