Music composer pritam chakraborty's wife Smita delivered a baby girl on Thursday morning at 9.30 am at the Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai.

Both mother and child are healthy and fine, though the baby girl was born a fortnight before the due date.

Said the happy father, ''My son Purvesh who's 2 and whom we all call Salsa, was born more than a month prematurely. He had to be kept in an incubator. My daughter is fine, though slightly before time.''

Pritam says his wife would like to call their baby girl Ishqa. ''My family is now complete. Hum do hamare do,'' he says happily. ''Ever since my daughter was conceived my really successful innings as a composer started.''
