There
are
huge
hopes
from
big
guns
like
Pritam,
Shankar
Ehsaan
Loy
and
A.R.
Rahman
as
2009
is
round
the
corner.
While
Pritam
and
Rahman
have
seen
the
biggest
number
of
releases
in
2008,
Shankar
Ehsaan
Loy
offered
Rock
On
that
clearly
came
up
with
a
new
definition
of
music.
Now
each
of
these
composers
is
all
set
to
make
a
big
impression
in
the
month
of
January
with
three
big
soundtracks
looking
at
hitting
the
stands.
First
to
come
would
be
Shahrukh
Khan's
home
production
Billu
Barber
where
Pritam
would
be
announcing
his
arrival.
While
Anu
Malik
composed
music
for
Main
Hoon
Naa,
MM
Kreem
created
music
for
Paheli
and
Vishal–Shekhar
were
roped
in
for
Om
Shanti
Om.
Now
Pritam
has
made
an
entry
into
the
Shahrukh
Khan's
camp
with
Billu
Barber.
No
wonder,
there
are
good
expectations
from
music
here.
Shankar,
Ehsaan
and
Loy
are
expected
to
do
something
one
up
over
Rock
On
as
they
return
to
create
music
for
a
Farhan
Akhtar
film.
A
regular
with
Farhan
Akhtar–Ritesh
Sidhwani
productions
ever
since
the
days
of
Dil
Chahata
Hai
the
trio
is
expected
to
add
one
more
to
the
list
with
the
music
of
Luck
By
Chance.
Last
but
certainly
not
the
least;
January
should
see
the
release
of
A.R.
Rahman's
soundtrack
of
Delhi
6.
Rakeysh
Omprakash
Mehra
and
Rahman
created
history
with
Rang
De
Basanti.
Now
the
two
reunite
for
Delhi
6
which
should
yet
again
give
audience
a
unique
and
unconventional
soundtrack.
Clearly,
this
is
one
of
the
most
keenly
anticipated
soundtracks.
With
a
wide
range
of
music
announcing
its
arrival
in
the
first
month
of
the
year,
one
looks
forward
to
an
entertaining
and
eventful
musical
year
ahead.
