"Jai Ho" singer duped of Rs.12 crore

The whole world came to know A.R. Rahman after winning two Oscars for his music in Slumdog Millionaire. However the man who sung the Oscar winning song "Jai Ho" has allegedly been cheated of Rs.12 crore over the last 12 months. We are talking about singer Sukhwinder Singh.

Sukhwinder alleged that middlemen posing as his managers have cheated him of Rs.12 crore by charging the event managers three to four times the fee he normally charge for stage show. It is reported that the singer received only one third the amount invested by the event managers on him.

Sources said that the singer is planning to file a police complaint once her gathers enough evidence.
