Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of T -Series with his impeccable knack for music, drive and determination established T-Series into a diversified group with $90 million in their core business of Consumer Electronics, CDs, Audio / Video Magnetic Tapes and Cassettes.

Inheriting the same farsightedness and ability to capitalize on small opportunities from his father, he makes it a point to buy the rights even for small and medium budget films, reason being that he believes small films find it difficult to sell their music in spite of having good compositions.

Bhushan Kumar says, “I work for the love of music as I"m of the belief that good music should reach every ear" He is further credited with lot of firsts in the Indian Music industry; his company is the first independent music publisher in India, for the first time in, the music of a Hindi film soundtrack, Don was released on I- Tunes for on-line digital sale simultaneously with its worldwide audio release.

Instrumental in making Indian music popular the world over, T-Series recently acquired the audio rights for Allah Ke Banday, Knockout and Flat that are relatively smaller canvas films and hope to be part of many such acquisitions in the future.

T-Series is now the biggest publishing house leading with more than 65 per cent market share in the Music Industry.
