Fox channel to air ACM Awards

Fox channel is going to launch the first American Country Music Awards. The fascinating thing about this award is that it"s completely based on votes of the fans. It would be broadcast by the mega channel Fox on December 6 this year from Sin City, Las Vegas.

The year"s most coveted artists will perform and make several appearances throughout the special show that would run for two hours.

American Country Music Awards or the ACA Executive Producer Bob Bain revealed the fact that this award would obviously put the spotlight on the genre called country music. Artist like Carrie Underwood as well as Lady Antebellum has already diversified country music with great success. The ACA also aims to honor the country music legends.

Fans would get to choose their favorites from categories like 'artist of the year", 'singer of the year", 'touring artist of the year", 'album of the year", and 'music video by a breakthrough artist".
