Radiohead drummer speaks of new album

By Ramchander

Recently, Phil Selway from Radiohead confirmed that their fresh album is still in the pipeline and songs are yet to be written. He also spoke largely about his sorrowful folk album called Familial. The album is supposed to be out on August 31. He also says that his role in the band is a little shadowy and a little obscure.

His album promises to be an interesting stroll of Nick Drake kind folk tunes. The album would also have a host of guest spots filled by the likes of Lisa Germano and Wilco"s Glenn Kotche. Pat Sansone would also be one of the artists, who would appear a guest on the album.

Reportedly, it"s been three years since the band ever released an album. Their last release was in 2007, with an album called In Rainbows. The band that was formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire is expected to have a release as soon as they complete writing the songs.
