Whitesnake band ropes in Michael Devin

After several months of speculation and after keeping the whole rock world in suspense, legendary hard rock band Whitesnake has finally announced their new bass player/singer, Michael Devin. The band is reportedly thrilled to make this announcement.

Recently, Devin was playing with Lynch Mob, along with the current Whitesnake drummer, Brian Tichy. This particular musical union completes with the new Whitesnake line-up along with guitarists Doug Aldrich, Reb Beach and keyboard player Timothy Drury. This new lineup is going to work together for the new Whitesnake album.

Devin said it is an absolute honor to be welcomed into the Whitesnake family and he says that he"s always been a huge fan of the band and their music. Whitesnake is known all over for creating several exciting musicianship, Devin further adds and says that David Coverdale"s (front man, founder of the band) experience is rich and he is proud of this fact.

The album is currently being recorded to be release on the Frontiers Records in the early months of the year 2011. The band will be also be returning to tour in support of the latest album's release.
