Singer Anupama Raag hitting the right note

With a leading hit song, “Shallu Ke Thumke" under her belt, Anupama Raag has already got Bollywod and the aam jantaa swooning and crooning to her very first Bollywood number. Impressed by the freshness of her voice, famed Music Director Anand Raj Anand gave her the first break as a play back singer in his film Bin Bulaye Baraati.

Hailing from an illustrious and opulent family of bureaucrats and politicians of Lucknow, Anupama has always been passionate about music and pursued her passion further with formal training. All along this musical journey she has received numerous awards, approval from All India Radio (AIR) and opportunities to showcase her talent on prestigious platforms like Taj Mahotsava, Lucknow mahotsava, etc. It was in the year 2007 she started her professional career with the first music album 'Ruh' where she doubled up as lyricist and composer. The album was presented by noted filmmaker Muzaffar Ali.

Her efforts and multifaceted personality ensured her a place in ''Desh Ke 25 Kamyab Chehre'' in the 25th anniversary edition of the reputed magazine India Today. All in all Anupama comes in as a breath of fresh air and is ready to lure and entice the audiences with her forthcoming songs in Power and Herapheri 4 of Naiadwala Production.
