AR Rahman to file lawsuit against audio company!

Katrina Kaif's latest mango ad is in trouble for using AR Rahman's tune in the commercial without his permission. The Oscar Award winner has told his lawyers to file a lawsuit against the company, which used his compositional track without his consent.

Reports say that AR Rahman's legal team has contacted the audio company seeking explanation for illegally using the tune. However, the audio company chief has admitted that the tune was taken without AR Rahman's permission.

Generally, they do not seek permission from musicians but the Oscar Award wiiner's case is different, as he has the copyrights of his tracks. Meanwhile, they have sorted out the issue, says a source.

The soft-drink commercial has Slumdog Millionaire tune that introduced Lathika, which was played by Freida Pinto in the Oscar Award winning film.
