Bappi Lahiri cuts Ooh La La cake on his 59th birthday

Bappi Lahiri celebrated his 59th birthday in style again at Lahiri house, Juhu. He also celebrated the success of his chartbuster item song 'Ooh La La' in the movie The Dirty Picture. Bappi da cut an 'Ooh La La' cake on the function, which was attended by his close friends and family.

The 'Ooh La La' birthday cake was a surprise from son Bappa, daughter Reema and her husband Govind Bansal, wife Chitrani and little grandson Swastik. After a sumptuous dinner, a DJ set up his system and the dancing went on all night. The songs were all Bappi da's chartbusters over the decades! The birthday boy only seemed to have grown a year younger.

However, Bappi da was overwhelmed by the fact that friends and family came in large numbers, Maushumi Chatterjee with daughter Megha, Kavita Krishnamoorthy, Alka Yagnik, David Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and mother Shivangi, Rupali Ganguly and a host of others graced the party.
