Pankaj Kapoor turns singer in Mausam

Veteran actor-turned-filmmaker Pankaj Kapoor has sung for the first time in the film Mausam. Kapur will sing 'live' for the first time at his directorial debut Mausam's music success party soon.

Pankaj Kapoor will apparently sing the song 'Saj Dhaj Ke' from Mausam. This is reportedly sung by Pankaj himself in the film along with Mika Singh.

Pankaj Kapoor, who is a great lover of music has vast knowledge of Punjabi folk songs and has given valuable inputs to the music of the film.

Confirming the news to a leading news agency, Pankaj Kapoor said, “I am glad that the film's music has really been appreciated and we wanted to celebrate that. We are trying to get all the singers to come and sing. I too would be singing."

Apart from Pankaj Kapoor, playback singers like Mika Singh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Tochi Raina, Hard Kaur and others will perform live at Mausam's success party.

Mausam stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles and is due to release on September 16.
