Mika sings at midnight for Mausam

Mika Singh has crooned a song for the upcoming Bollywood film Mausam at midnight. The singer has confirmed the news and has said that he recorded a song after he got a call from music director Pritam Chakraborty .

Recalling the whole episode, Mika explains that Pritam called him at the middle of the night and asked him, whether he could come immediately and sing a song for Mausam. To his surprise, when he went to record his voice, both father Pankaj Kapoor and son Shahid Kapoor were waiting for him. He adds that he was bowled over by their involvement in the music.

However, Mausam features Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in the leads. The movie is directed by Pankaj Kapoor. It is all set to release on July 22, 2011.
