By Ramchander

Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma of Laxmikant-Pyarelal fame, entertained the Mumbai audience with his evergreen tracks on Sunday. This is the music director's first live concert after 20 years.

Sonu Nigam, who used to sing in Mohammed Rafi's style in his early days, crooned for the popular songs sung by the legendary singer for Pyarelal's composition at the concert. It was held at Andheri Sports Complex on Sunday evening.

Talking about the event, Kavitha said, "I felt as if I am at the recording hall of Mehboob Studio with my musical family. Laxmikant and Pyarelal are my gurus and whatever I am today, the credit for this goes to songs they gave me."

Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sudesh Bhosle, Shail Hada, Vibhavari Joshi and Shrikant Kulkarni also sung some melody tracks composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal at the concert titled 'Maestros'.
