Remo Fernandes to croon a Goan number for Luv U Soniyo

Remo Fernandes, who had gone in a self-imposed exile after crooning the hit song 'Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha', is now all set to make his comeback to Hindi music industry. According to reports, the fusion artiste would sing a Goan number for Joe Rajan’s Luv U Soniyo, which stars Rati Agnihotri’s son Tanuj Virwani and former Miss India Neha Hinge in the lead.

The hero of the film Luv U Soniyo is Goan and director Joe Rajan wanted a very Goan-style song for it. Talking to a tabloid, Remo Fernandes said, “I have given it a very bouncy rhythm and a very melodious tune, which even a child can hum, which is what Goan music is all about.”

Joe Rajan says that it was Rati’s idea to get a Goan song to suit her son’s character in the film and his close friend Madhur Bhandarkar introduced him to the musician. He added that Vipin Patwa has composed music, while Remo will add on by singing and composing a special number as guest music director.

However, Remo, who belted out hits like 'Yeh hai Jalwa', 'Humma Humma' and 'Pyaar to Hona Hi Tha', has roped in Sai Palondikar to include some Konkani lyrics, while the Hindi lyrics are by Abhijeet Deshpande. Joe Rajan added, "The scratch is ready and we will record the song this week.”
