Varsha Bhosle suicide case: Asha Bhosle's 'GUN' mystery REVEALED!

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle and her family are currently going through a dark phase in life, after her daughter Varsha Bhosle committed suicide in the wee hours on Monday. Reportedly, the police officials are currently interrogating Asha and Lata Mangeshkar over Varsha's mysterious death.

Asha Bhosle put an end to the mystery surrounding the ownership of the pistol used by her daughter Varsha to shoot herself. "The pistol that Varsha used to shoot herself is registered in my name. It is very old and it had been lost. We don't know how Varsha got her hands on it," she told Mid Day.

Asha also said that Varsha was under depression, owing to her loneliness and she had also distanced herself from everyone in the past one year. Varsha, who used to work as a freelance journalist, was divorced from sports journalist Hemant Kenkre. She wrote columns for web portal Rediff.com, The Sunday Observer and the Gentleman magazine, among other freelancing projects.
