Winehouse to perform at Woodie Awards

New York (ANI): Singer Amy Winehouse has signed up to perform at the 2007 MTV Woodie Awards, to be held in New York next month. Winehouse has not performed in the U.S. since she pulled out of the VMAs, which were held in Las Vegas on Sept 9. The British diva"s music management company, Universal Republic Records, scrapped all her U.S. performances after scrapped all her U.S. performances.

The award ceremony is targeted at the college audience and is scheduled to take place on Nov. 8 at the Roseland Ballroom, reports the New York Daily News. Winehouse is nominated for Woodie of the Year award.
