Diddy B-listed at French Riviera

Rap star Sean 'Diddy' Combs was reportedly refused a table at a club on the French Riviera, where he once ruled the party scene, on Thursday night. Nobody even recognised him at the St. Tropez hotspot Les Caves, according to sources.

"He is so B-List here. No one even acknowledges him," the New York Post quoted a source as saying. The second-rate treatment meted out to Combs is being seen as a huge decline in his social status.

The newspaper's report also states that some celebrity-followers are questioning why Combs is roaming the South of France beaches at a time when no one goes there. "Nobody goes out there until the first and second week of August. Maybe he's afraid he'll get lost in the crowd once all the real celebs show up," said a source.

Combs first landed at the French resort with a full-time entourage in 2003. He was often spotted partying with Uma Thruman, getting bottles of Cristal worth 20,000 dollars sent to his table or picking up ladies at Club 55.
