Pete Doherty bashed in a London pub

London (ANI): Junkie rocker Pete Doherty was threatened and punched in the face by a drug dealer in a Brit pub. The incident left drinkers shocked as the stocky 6ft 2in goon knocked off the 26-year-old Babyshambles star to the ground in the garden of the Sun Inn, Marlborough, Wilts.

According to The Mirror, the thug threatened Dougherty by saying, "You should get your gear from me." "It was horrible. Pete was really shaken up and upset," said one regular at the pub. However the police just said: "We are investigating."

It was verified from Parlophone Records, Pete's label that he was punched by a stranger but slammed the rumours of any argument over drugs.
