Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills appeared in a pornographic book when she was an unknown model.

The animal rights campaigner, who found fame after losing a leg in a road traffic accident in 1993, performs a number of sexual acts in photographs in German book Die Freuden Der Liebe (The Joys of Love).

According to a British newspaper. The graphic lovers' guide was published in 1988 when Mills worked as a model. The former Beatle and Mills - who gave birth to their baby Beatrice in 2003 - split last month after four years of marriage.
