JeLo took a break post marriage

Jennifer Lopez admits that marriage has made her focus more on her private life rather than her professional life.

The singer, who stars alongside hubby singer Marc Anthony in 'El Cantante' is about legendary dancer Hector Lavoe, and his impact on the Latin music scene, told ABC News Now that marriage had made her take a much deserved break.

"Since I got married, the focus has really been my marriage and my life. It's nice because I had a run there where I was working non-stop. My whole life was about work, so it was nice to get away from that for a little while," Contactmusic quoted her, as telling ABC. "It was a conscious decision to pull away and find out a different way to live where I wasn't on the cover of tabloids all the time," she added.

Lopez is currently busy working on her fifth English studio album, in which she is working with producer Swizz Beatz. The album is scheduled to hit stores the world over in September this year.
