Lily
Allen
has
splashed
out
600,000
on
a
new
home
in
East
London.
The
22-year-old
singer
has
fallen
in
love
with
the
Victorian
property
in
Hackney
and
is
set
to
move
in
with
boyfriend,
record
label
A+R
man
Seb
Chew,
soon.
However,
Lily
almost
missed
out
on
her
dream
home
when
her
offer
was
initially
rejected.
Lily
said:
"I've
been
frantically
looking
at
some
places
with
my
sister
Sarah
who's
been
researching
houses
for
the
past
few
weeks.
We
found
a
house
in
Hackney
that
I
immediately
fell
in
love
with.
I
put
an
offer
in
-
and
it
was
declined!
"Anyway
they
finally
accepted
my
offer
and
it's
amazing.
I'm
so
happy.
I
really
feel
like
I've
earned
it.
Keep
your
fingers
crossed
I
can
move
in
soon."
Lily
-
who
recently
launched
her
own
fashion
line
for
high
street
chain
New
Look
-
compared
buying
her
dream
home
to
buying
a
vintage
dress.
She
added:
"Buying
a
house
is
like
buying
a
dress
in
an
overpriced
vintage
shop,
except
obviously
there
are
more
people
in
the
equation
and
buying
a
dress
doesn't
come
with
a
25-year
financial
obligation!"
The
'LDN'
singer
recently
complained
she
couldn't
afford
to
buy
a
basic
flat
in
her
beloved
hometown
of
London.
She
moaned:
"It's
depressing
to
be
young
in
Britain.
Money
is
a
massive
issue.
"I've
been
doing
what
I
do
for
a
few
years
now
and
I've
been
paid
pretty
well
for
it,
but
even
I'm
not
in
a
position
to
buy
a
one-bedroom
flat
in
the
city
I
grew
up
in."
