Spice Girls' decision to ask fans to choose the locations for extra shows may actually take them to Baghdad, for fans have started an Internet campaign for a gig in the war-struck Asian city.

Last week, the reunited band of five had asked fans to choose the cities they would want them to cover in the world your, with a promise that the city with the maximum votes will be named the Spice City.

"It's impossible for us to perform everywhere but we thought why not let our fans decide where we play? This is your chance to turn your city into 'Spice City'! All you need to do is tell us where you want to see us. We are literally in your hands," the Sun quoted them, as saying.

"The city with the most votes will become 'Spice City' and we'll definitely come and play there as part of our tour," they added.

The five member band are all set to kick-off their world tour on December 2 in Vancouver, Canada and the tour will end at Buenos Aires, Argentina.
