Geri
Halliwell
is
desperate
to
get
her
famous
Union
Jack
dress
back
in
time
for
the
Spice
Girls
reunion.
Geri,
who
wore
the
mini
dress
when
the
band
performed
at
the
1997
BRIT
Awards,
sold
the
iconic
garment
in
1998.
A
source
told
Britain's
The
Sun
newspaper:
"Geri
has
told
the
reunion
team
she
wants
to
wear
the
dress
on
stage
again.
It
can't
be
a
copy,
it
has
to
be
the
real
thing.
It
could
cost
a
bob
or
two
to
get
back
but
she
wants
them
to
pay
whatever
it
takes.
"Borrowing
it
isn't
really
an
option
as
it
may
need
some
altering.
Geri
is
a
bit
less
curvy
than
she
was
in
1997."
Geri
sold
the
skimpy
dress
at
a
charity
auction
for
"41,000
to
Hard
Rock
founder
Peter
Morton,
after
she
left
the
band
in
1998
to
focus
on
her
solo
career.
Morton
later
put
the
outfit
on
display
at
his
Las
Vegas
hotel.
Music
mogul
Simon
Fuller
is
believed
to
have
finally
convinced
all
five
girls
to
reform,
and
an
announcement
is
expected
soon.
Since
their
split,
Geri,
Mel
B
and
Victoria
Beckham
have
all
become
mothers,
and
Emma
Bunton
is
currently
expecting
her
first
child
this
summer.
Mel
C
has
continued
to
pursue
her
solo
career
but
is
believed
to
have
finally
agreed
to
the
reunion.
