Posh wins Woman of the Year

Victoria Beckham looked anything but Posh as she turned up for the Glamour Awards in London last night. The slim-lined former pop singer stepped out in a corset, hot pants and bolero jacket for the awards show where she scooped the Woman of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year gongs from the fashion magazine.

Posh, who once again showed off her tiny figure in the revealing outfit, was crowned with the ceremony's most coveted award, the Woman of the Year, as she is seen as being "indicative of the modern woman", according to the editor of the magazine.

Jo Elvin praised Posh for juggling the work/home life balance and acting as a role model for others. However, Victoria, who is swapping the Spanish heat for the California sunshine in the summer when multi-millionaire footballer husband David moves to the LA Galaxy, admitted her career is not what it was.

Accepting the award, she joked, "During my days as a Spice Girl I was blessed to stand on many stages and get many awards. I've got to say that hasn't actually happened since then."
