Ashlee and Pete Wentz expecting first child

New York (ANI): Ashlee Simpson and fiance Pete Wentz have made sure that their assets are protected just in case their marriage does not work out by signing a pre-nuptial agreement. The couple recently tied the knot, and are rumoured to be expecting their first child together.

Wentz told Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show that he and Simpson had indeed signed a pre-nup, reports the New York Daily News. "We have signed a pre-nup," he told the radio show.

However, he refused to confirm whether or not the couple are indeed pregnant. "This baby has not been confirmed," he said. "The only thing I'm confirming now is that we're in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees," he said
