It
seems
that
singer
Beyonce
Knowles
is
now
busy
planning
a
cosy
wedding
with
fiance
Jay-Z,
after
he
finally
nodded
to
marry
her.
Though
the
couple
got
engaged
in
June
2006,
the
rapper
was
not
ready
to
rush
into
marriage
and
was
delaying
the
wedding
vows.
However,
American
tabloid
Globe
has
revealed
that
Jay-Z
seems
to
have
changed
his
mind
after
a
recent
romantic
trip
to
Paris,
and
has
even
told
the
former
Destiny"s
Child
singer
to
look
for
venues
for
the
wedding.
"There
was
a
time
when
Beyonce
wanted
an
enormous
fairy-tale
wedding,
but
now
she's
a
masterminding
a
smaller
party
in
New
York," Contactmusic
quoted
a
source,
as
saying.
"At
the
moment,
she
considering
either
The
Carlyle
or
Peninsula
Hotel,"
the
source
added.
The
singer
has
won
a
copyright
infringement
lawsuit
against
an
unknown
songwriter
who
had
claimed
the
star
stole
her
song
to
create
her
2003
hit
'Baby
Boy".
Jennifer
Armour
claimed
that
she
had
sent
her
track
for
consideration
to
Mathhew
Knowles,
Beyonce"s
father
and
manager
in
2003.
However,
a
U.S.
judge
ruled
in
2006
that
there
was
no
evidence
to
suggest
that
the
former
Destiny"s
Child
singer
had
copied
a
demo
recording
of
the
track
by
Armour.
Armour
appealed
against
the
ruling
last
year
but
again
the
judge
ruled
in
favour
of
Beyonce
after
being
satisfied
by
evidence
showing
that
the
singer
had
already
finished
her
song
when
Armour
submitted
her
track.
A
statement
released
on
Jan
2,
2008
said
that
the
United
States
Court
of
Appeals
for
the
Fifth
Circuit
"upheld
the
2006
trial
court
decision
dismissing
a
copyright
infringement
lawsuit
brought
against
Beyonce".
Beyonce
is
pleased
that
the
whole
case
has
finally
come
to
an
end.
"It's
unfortunate
that
we
had
to
endure
this
long
legal
process,
but
I
am
hopeful
this
decision
will
allow
all
of
us
that
were
involved
to
finally
move
on,"
Contactmusic
quoted
Beyonce,
as
saying.
