New York (ANI): Bob Dylan will be spreading the essence of love in Brooklyn when he performs at an outdoor concert in Prospect Park on August 12. The legendary singer-songwriter made the announcement on June 3 on his web site, where fans also picked up the not-so-secret password ("Tilden") to buy tickets at Ticketmaster before they go on sale for the general public next week.

Dylan and his "Never Ending Tour" will arrive in the city at the tail end of a spin through Iceland, Poland, Russia, Spain and other European stops, reports the New York Daily News. Dylan, 67, did a three-night stand at the Hammerstein Ballroom in 2003 but hasn't played a major concert in the city since then. He did perform in 2004 at the Apollo Theater's 70th anniversary.
