Britney up against Winehouse in MTV Europe Music Awards

Melbourne (ANI): Popstar Britney Spears is up against troubled popstar Amy Winehouse in MTV Europe Music Awards, as both have been nominated in the 'best act of 2008' category. The 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' hitmaker has been nominated in 'album of the year' category for her new album 'Blackout'.

She will be once again competing against Coldplay and Leona Lewis, as well as Welsh singer Duffy, and Alicia Keys, reports The Courier Mail. The 26-year-old popstar, who had hit a pretty low phase in life, has come a long way, as she has already won awards at the VMAs.
