Washington (ANI): Britney Spears has been granted overnight visitation rights to her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, who are in the custody of her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. The news comes after the latest hearing in the singer's custody case with Federline on June 24. A Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman didn't comment on the specific details of the hearing but confirmed a change to Spears' existing visitation rights had been made.

Both Spears, 26, and Federline, who has primary legal and physical custody of the children, attended the hearing. "Both sides have been very cooperative the past couple of weeks," E! Online quoted the spokesman, as saying. The spokesman said a further hearing would take place on July 15, while the case was still scheduled to go to trial in August.

Spears' visitation rights were severely limited amid increasing personal problems and fears for the singer's mental health. However, the Toxic singer has appeared to have been getting her life back on track in recent months. When leaving the courtroom, Spears told reporters she was happy with the decision.
