Britney Spears asks for FBI protection

Washington (ANI): Beleaguered pop diva Britney Spears has turned to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for protection against an alleged stalker, who she said threatened to kill her. Britney requested the agency for protection after she reportedly received a number of letters, including one on how to make a bomb. Besides this, the singer was delivered several packages that contained sex toys, and notes on the Middle East and Israel.

"We have been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months," Contactmusic quoted a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman, as saying. A FBI spokesman said: "We cannot comment on ongoing investigations."
