Britney to stage Las Vegas Shows

Washington (ANI): Pop princess Britney Spears is reportedly in secret negotiations to stage a spectacular major comeback in Las Vegas. The speculations about her next show being a Sin City extravaganza started after Spears was spotted dining with Palms Hotel and Casino owner George Maloof Jr. in Los Angeles on 20 May 08.

The rumours were further fuelled when insiders claimed that the dinner at Il Sole was a business affair. Spears and Maloof Jr. are not strangers to one another and have been friends for years, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline and her father Jamie both having had business dealings with the casino boss in the past.

Spears is, according to the new issue of America's National Enquirer, planning a multi-million dollar stage production she hopes will jump-start her career. "She wants to make a splashy comeback in Las Vegas. She wants the show to be full of high energy and flashy costume changes," Contactmusic quoted a source as having told the tabloid.

Spears is reportedly in negotiations to perform a string of shows for an estimated $10 million (GBP5 million).
