Britney Spears
Washington (ANI): Britney Spears has hired a new lawyer to represent her in the ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Stacy D. Phillips, a Columbia University law grad, replaced Sorrell Trope, who gave up the case citing communication problems with the troubled pop star, reports People.

Phillips represented Bobby Brown in his divorce from Whitney Houston, and Tori Spellling's ex, Charlie Shahnaian. She's also a frequent legal analyst in magazines and on television. In addition, she authored 'Divorce: It's All About Control,' once explaining that, "I've yet to handle a divorce where control was not an issue or at issue." Phillips has become the fourth lawyer to sign on for Britney's custody case.
