London
(ANI):
Carla
Bruni-Sarkozy
has
already
come
to
turns
with
the
fact
that
the
French
public
might
scorn
her
new
album
just
because
she"s
married
to
their
President
Nicolas
Sarkozy.
The
French
first
lady's
third
album
Comme
Si
De
Rien
N'Etait
is
set
to
be
released
on
July
11
in
France.
And,
Mrs
Bruni-Sarkozy
admitted
in
an
interview
with
VSD
magazine
that
she's
bracing
herself
for
reaction
to
it,
reports
the
BBC.
"If
people
don't
listen
because
I
married
the
president
of
the
republic,
I
understand," she
told
the
mag.
However,
if
people
do
like
it,
she
admits
she
would
be
"delighted.
And
if
people
especially
like
it,
that
is
what
counts
for
me,"
she
said.
Mrs
Bruni-Sarkozy
also
revealed
that
the
lyrics
were
penned
"a
little
bit
before,
a
little
bit
during
and
a
little
bit
after"
her
swift
romance
with
Sarkozy.
Her
change
in
status
will
however
mean
that
she
will
not
be
touring
to
promote
the
album.
Mrs
Bruni-Sarkozy's
record
label
Naive
has
also
confirmed
that
14
tracks
of
the
album
will
be
available
for
free
on
www.carlabruni.com
from
08.30
BST
until
July
21.
The
yet-to-be-released
album
will
be
sold
internationally
as
"Simply",
and
royalties
will
go
to
charity.
