Cheryl warns new X Factor to stay off men

London (ANI): British singer and X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole has warned new X Factor winner Alexandra Burke to stay off men and to focus on work and not play. Cole called for the sex ban after Burke's former lover, D'adre West, tried to cash in on her success by selling a seedy sex tape the couple recorded years ago.

"I won't be taking her on the pull," the Daily Star quoted her as saying. "Alexandra is going to focus on her music and her new career. Boys will come later on there's plenty of time for that," she stated.

The 25-year-old 'Girls Aloud' member has had a turbulent year herself after her footballer husband Ashley, 27, was caught cheating on her. Burke, 20, who is from London, has nothing but praise for Cole and follows her advice. "Cheryl is a beautiful and confident woman and I have learned so much from her over the last six months," Burke said.

"She told me there will always be negative stories about me but said I should get into the habit of ignoring everything that is said about me. If I ignore the good stuff as well as the bad stuff then I will keep my feet on the ground," she added.
