London (ANI): English musician Pete Doherty was thrown out of the Millwall football ground when he was caught peeing in a trophy. Doherty, who is a fan of the London rivals QPR, was at the League One side's New Den stadium to play in the Celebrity Soccer Sixes tournament when he decided to pull the prank.

"Babyshambles were given access to the chairman's office so the attention surrounding Pete wouldn't get in the way of all the other guests," the Sun quoted a source as saying. "He decided to play a prank but overstepped the mark. "One of the security guards was tipped off that Pete was trying to take a trophy. When he checked it out he found that Pete wasn't nicking it, he was filling it up.

"He is a huge QPR fan and thought it would be a laugh to leave a little surprise," the source added. The Babyshambles team, who played in QPR's hooped kit, lost Sunday's final to Faithless, despite 28-year-old Doherty being cheered on by 5-year-old son Astile, 24-year-old Amy Winehouse, and 17-year-old Pixie Geldof.
