Janet Jackson and Jermaine desperate for a baby

New Delhi (ANI): Janet Jackson and beau Jermaine Dupri are all set to go family way, for the singer has revealed that they will start trying for a baby soon after her tour gets over. The 'Together Again' singer and her record producer boyfriend have been dating since 2002 and now they want to plan for a baby once Janet is through with her run of shows later this year.

On being asked if the couple want to have children, Jermaine replied: "Yeah, soon. Right after the tour." Jermaine already has a daughter, Shaniah, from a previous relationship and is convinced that the 42-year-old singer would turn out to be a fantastic mother and he is eager to start trying for a family.

"It really doesn't matter if we have a boy or a girl. Janet would be a great mom. She was around so many brothers and sisters all her life, so she's got to know what that is like. And her mom is a great mother," The China Daily quoted him, as telling People magazine.

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that the couple are planning to secretly marry in an intimate ceremony in France early next year. "They want a very simple wedding in Paris with the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop. The wedding won't be extravagant, but they do want their families and friends to be there," said a source.
