Jessica Simpson wants to be the next Dolly Parton

London (ANI): American pop singer Jessica Simpson has revealed that she hopes to be like legendary country singer Dolly Parton. Simpson, 28, who has worked with Parton, 62, idolizes her and says that she is determined to make a name as big as her country idol.

"Dolly is awesome! I idolise her. And she is beautiful. I would love to be just like her. I have worked with her and it was great," the Sun quoted Simpson as saying. "It was really exciting - I am blessed, 100 per cent," she added.

Simpson, who is set to release her first country album 'Do You Know' in September, has a long journey ahead to rival 26 No. 1 singles and 42 Top 10 country albums. The Dukes of Hazzard star had recently admitted that she had been in an abusive relationship and her upcoming tune 'Remember That' is based on her own experiences.
