Jessica, Tony Romo are back together

New York (ANI): American pop singer Jessica Simpson and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo have decided to give their relationship another chance. The only difference this time is that Simpson's father, who had been rumoured to have been the cause of their first break up, will not be allowed to have a say in it, reports the New York Daily News.

Romo had told Joe Simpson, who has a reputation as an overbearing stage dad, to back off, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. But the 28-year-old footballer has also told 27-year-old Simpson, that the relationship will only be on a trial basis, depending on her dad staying out of it.

News of the two having split came out after Romo was overheard as telling friends that he was single again. But he was spotted with Simpson the following week at her sister's wedding. The two were also spotted snuggling together at a Dallas restaurant over the weekend
