Teachers has predicted John Lennon as a failure

John Lennon
Washington (ANI): Late Beatle star John Lennon might be remembered as a highly talented rock musician today, but he was contemplated a 'failure' during his school days. The legendary rocker, who was shot dead in New York in 1980, failed to impress his former schoolteachers - because he liked to act as the school's 'clown'.

In fact, Lennon's teachers predicted that he would be a failure, reports Contactmusic. In a school report from Quarry Bank School in Liverpool, England, one teacher wrote: "Certainly on the road to failure, hopeless, rather a clown of the class and wastes other pupils' time."

In his solo career, Lennon wrote and recorded songs such as "Give Peace a Chance" and 'Imagine'. Lennon revealed his rebellious nature and wit on television, in films such as A Hard Day's Night, in books such as In His Own Write, and in press conferences and interviews. He was controversial through his work as a peace activist, artist, and author.
